Women of Colour set to shine at Precious Awards 2013

Join Precious, the network for women of colour, as it celebrates the various outstanding achievements of female entrepreneurs, leaders and mentors on Thursday October 24th at its 7th annual awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony, which is organised by Precious founder Foluke Akinlose MBE, and takes place during Black History Month, serves to promote the inspiring individuals who have not only generated ideas but managed to put them into action and effect change. The event, deemed “vital” by UK PM David Cameron, provides a platform for Britain’s most exciting female business and leadership talent to shine and in the process inspire others to fulfil their business dreams.

Past winners include the likes of Ronke Lawal, Chief Executive of the Islington Chamber of Commerce; blogger Ondo Lady, premium haircare brand Mizani and, ‘Precious Man of The Year’ Labour MP Chuka Umunna.
