The Three Degrees: First Studio Album Release in 25 Years

The longest-running female vocal group in history The Three Degrees, known for their hit song When Will I See You Again, are celebrating 50 years in the business. To crown their long lasting success they are pleased to announce the release of their first studio album in 25 years, called ‘Strategy (Our Tribute To Philadelphia)’.

The three ladies, Helen Scott, Valerie Holiday and Freddie Pool have already hit the road for their 30 show UK Tour and after their triumphant 2015 tour they have proved to maintain their beauty, their sparkling choreography, and their precise vocal harmonies.

The Three Degrees have played an important role in bringing Soul music to the world and they continue to be considered as one of the most important ambassadors of American Soul Music.

The album, released on SoulMusic Records features the trio’s own very personal tribute to Philadelphia classic’s such as The O’Jays’ ‘Love Train’, The Trammps’ ‘Disco Inferno’, Billy Paul’s classic, ‘Me & Mr. Jones’ along with a new recording of the group’s own hit, ‘T.S.O.P’ (The Sound of Philadelphia).

“There is love and a message in the music.”, says Helen Scott.
