Of pop that is. Video footage has been released of ‘Superbass’ singer Nicki Minaj locking lips with the queen of pop, Madonna on her 29th birthday. The kiss took place on the set of the ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ video shoot, where Madonna, Minaj, and fellow collaborator M.I.A. were dressed in matching Marilyn Monroe inspired costumes for the celebrations.
The kiss might not exactly come as much of a shocker since Minaj tweeted at the time to say “OH MY f’ingggg Gahhhh!!!!! MADONNA just kissed me!!!!! On the lips!!!!!!! It felt sooooo good. Soooo soft!!!! *passes out*” and Madge is certainly no stranger to planting the odd smacker on the lips of her fellow female collaborators. The footage of the kiss in question has now emerged online, with Madge telling the pink-haired pop star to “make a wish” before blowing out the candles on her cupcake and adding, “Now your wish is coming true!” before leaning in for a swift smooch.
