INFAMOUSIZAK – PUBLIC ENEMY

INFAMOUSIZAK is one of the newest artists to hit the music scene, being an all rounder artist that also produces and raps. Impressively, the South Londoner is self-taught, getting most of his producing skills through YouTube tutorials. His music is all about conversating, as a way in bringing all different genres of music together to create an unforgettable song.

His new self-produced video for ‘Public Enemy’ was recently released (16th Jan), consisting of two scenes, one being on the street and a skating park, while the other showing him singing whilst being in a cell. Connecting his personal life with the outside world, it really represents the message of the song of trusting people around you and getting rid of the negativity in your life.

Ella Eyre – New Me

In a move that feels very appropriate for January, Ella Eyre returns with new single ‘New Me’. After signing with Island Records last July, Eyre will surely be hitting the charts hard in 2020 with a range of new tracks.

Her upbeat solo holds the meanings of starting afresh and leaving all the negativity behind, stating that the song is about ’embodying a whole new mindset and finding the strength and self-worth to cut off a toxic situation.’ Amen to that! So, if you haven’t gotten into the ‘New Year, New Me’ spirit and want to start, her tune will surely get you going.

Bugzy Malone – Cause A Commotion ft. Skip Marley

Bugzy Malone starts his new year off with a bang… literally! His new track ‘Cause A Commotion,’ featuring Skip Marley includes a Jamaican feel and groove; Marley, who sings the chorus, uses the dialect of Patois throughout the song.

The rapper raps about ‘causing a commotion,’ creating an upbeat tempo which sounds as if it could be a potential, know, cultural vibe, celebrated at festivals and concerts.

Jake Isaac – New York

Singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, Jake Isaac from South London has released his new single ‘New York,’ (released 9th Jan). The song tells the tale of a man who longs for a place and a person, that person being a woman who has his love in New York.  The whole track shares the story of a lost love, opening up to the singer’s emotions, where most will be able to relate with.

Even though lost love is no new theme in music, this tune includes soft and nostalgic harmonies with a quiet base instrumental that makes you just want to have a slow dance with someone.
