Bugzy Malone – Boxes of Bush

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJAQtPEgcxw

Manchester native Bugzy Malone has burst back onto the scene with his unapologetically British single ‘Boxes of Bush’ and unsurprisingly it’s a banger. However, the very surprising part is that Bugzy made his acting debut in Guy Richie’s latest blockbuster The Gentlemen which the song is featured in. The song is a classic grime anthem, it’s gritty, cheeky, direct and raw, Bugzy was really in his element on this one. Congratulations to you Bugzy on this the success, and when you’re walking down red carpets and chopping it up with A-listers don’t forget about us.

Nicki Minaj – Yikes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOVxwVvUe_c

The Queen of rap is back y’all and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is more than excited. Despite her Twitter confession late last year in which she stated that she would be retiring from the industry, it seems she just couldn’t put the sparkly mic down and is back to bless our ears with her latest track ‘Yikes’. Do I smell another album coming our way?? Hopefully, until then we’ll be clutching our pink wigs and shaking our anacondas to this hard-hitting, hip-hop banger.

Raye ft. Young Adz – All of my love

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30_sFA-DfFA

Pop Singer/songwriter Raye has come out with a new song entitled ‘All of my love’ featuring D Block Europe’s Youngs Adz. With Raye ditching her usual up-tempo style for a more sultry sound and Young Adz giving the song an edgy and sexy rap verse, this is the single we didn’t know we needed.

Meek Mill ft. Justin Timberlake – Believe

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rNo-UuGDfA

Meek Mill has released an inspirational single featuring Justin Timberlake; who has not graced our screens since the pop anthem ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’. The visuals for the song entitled ‘Believe’ are equally as inspirational with lyrics that include “you can break my body but you can’t lock the soul of a man down”. The video follows a female boxer, a recovering substance abuser and an incarcerated man, which no doubt strikes a chord with Meek who was facing five years in prison, after being on probation for 9 years. The song is wrapped up by a verse from the book of Revelations in the Bible and will definitely have you feeling self-reflective and self-empowered.

Rebecca Garton – Don’t

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lGUxCrVyOM

British singer, Rebecca Garton’s latest has just dropped her latest single ‘Don’t’. We hear her sweet R&B vocals over a hypnotising beat which has a bounce to it, making the lyrics of the song resonate.  The song is 100% relatable to all of us who have found ourselves in a one-sided relationship or a shaky situationship. Don’t worry sis, you’ll get through it and the amazing music is a great silver lining. This smooth R&B track is definitely worth the listen.
