Issa Rae signs two year deal with HBO

Writer/actress and star of upcoming dark comedy ‘Insecure’, Issa Rae has just sealed a major 2 season deal with HBO, even before her highly anticipated show has even aired. This is very good news for Issa, who’s best known for creating successful YouTube webseries ‘Awkward Black Girl’. Issa will be entering a new market and it’s good to see HBO are behind her, with her vision. Hoping for an exciting first season and a great second, we can’t wait to watch ‘Insecure’ this autumn!
