The incredibly talented songstress Corinne Bailey Rae has released a striking new video for ‘Green Aphrodisiac’ leading up to the release of her album ‘The Heart Speaks In Whispers’ out May 13th.
The British-born singer-songwriter is captured at her most sensual in this beautifully artistic video as she portrays an intimate bond through contemporary dance. Corinne Bailey Rae danced ballet during her childhood years and although it’s her first experiment, she insists it won’t be the last.
The angelic and soulful singer explains that the song is about “intoxicating spring days and nights [….] sensuality and connecting with the body and how we are part of nature” she continued “I was so excited to make a video where I was working with two incredible dancers to create a piece where we were moving like one organism, one flower turning to the sun.”
