I’ve never found a false lash that I’ve liked. It’s not that I don’t think they look great on other people, I just believe when I wear them I end up looking like a bit of a drag queen! Saying that, I’d love the feeling of long luscious fluttery lashes, so I was quite excited to have my lashes extended at Perfect Eyelashes with Agnes. She explained that for eyelash extensions to work on black women’s curly lashes they can’t be too exaggerated in length because the weight will make the natural lash move resulting in criss crossed lashes. The lashes that Agnes applied were long enough to be noticed but natural enough to look like my own – just how I like it! To keep them looking full I will need to come back every three weeks and the best thing is, done well, they won’t damage your natural lashes at all. I didn’t think it was possible but I’ve actually found a lash I love!
