A Day Of Revolution

Kush Films presents a special film screening event on Tuesday 17th November at The Regent Street cinema, with ‘revolution’ as the theme.

The event will showcase new documentary ‘Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution’. Described as “the first feature length documentary to explore the Black Panther Party, its significance to the broader American culture, its cultural and political awakening for black people, and the painful lessons wrought when a movement derails.” Kush Film Boutique is also inviting all attendees to get into the spirit of revolution and to come dressed as a 1970’s Black Panther (berets, glasses, black jackets, afro’s etc)!

The event will also feature s a special performance by spoken word artist Mikel Ameen and pre film drinks in the bar accompanied by a live DJ set from the renowned Ronnie Herel of Mi-Soul Radio.

Watch the trailer for the eye opening and explorative documentary above.
