One of the most anticipated unveilings during New York Fashion Week in February was Rihanna’s Fall 2016 Fenty x Puma. Ever since she took over as Puma’s creative director nearly two years ago, she’s released a suede creeper trainer that has generated a lot of buzz among fans and the fashion industry. But people wanted more than just footwear, which then developed into a ready-to wear clothing range otherwise known as Fenty X Puma a bold and daring collection that clearly mirrors Rihanna’s taste in fashion and personality.

What we often look for in a collection are mix-and-match pieces, an extensive selection of silhouettes to refresh our capsule wardrobes, according to the editors who curated the selection of tops on Lyst. But what appeared on the runways were a myriad of one pieces with tall boots and outerwear exuding a sporty aesthetic, suited for the rebellious type of fashionista that’s brave enough to break away from convention. With a good mix of men’s and women’s wear in the collection, Rihanna told Vogue backstage at NYFW, “If the Addams Family went to the gym, this is what they would wear.”

Followed by her NYFW premiere was her introduction of comfy fur-trimmed slippers named The Fur Slide, a questionable item for the summer, yet saw record breaking sales, similar to her creepers and her gothic, modern street wear from the first Fenty collaboration. More hype surrounds her spring collection, as she explains that this range of apparel will be completely different from the first. This time, she will be showcasing her spring/summer 2017 collection in a European fashion capital.

On Wednesday, September 28, the Work singer’s latest apparel will be showcased on Paris Fashion Week, which is more than fitting as Rihanna claims that her theme and concept for this line are suited for the City of Lights. It’ll be interesting to see her take on Parisian style.

As one of the highly awaited shows of the season, Rihanna’s second instalment for Puma x Fenty is one that can’t be missed. If a quick trip to Paris is out of the question for you, Rihanna will be live streaming the event, complete with the collection presentation, as well as exclusive interviews and backstage content. She has two presentations scheduled at 7:30 and 8:30pm CEST, both of which can be viewed on Tidal. Thankfully, you do not need to be a paid subscriber to access the live stream of Rihanna’s Paris Fashion Week debut.

In fact you can watch the live stream right here on PRIDEMAGAZINE.COM courtesy of Tidal, 7.30pm and 8.30pm CEST (6.30pm and 7.30pm GMT)
