The official trailer for the forthcoming biopic on the lives of NASA pioneers, Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson has finally been released! The movie is called ‘Hidden Figures’, playing the phenomenal women are Hollywood big-shots: Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, Golden Globe winner Taraji P Henson and two-time Grammy nominee Janelle Monae. The film is set to tell the story of 3 African American women, who went against racism and gender barriers to launch the historic space rocket carrying astronaut John Glenn into space. With a mixture of science, comedy and some romance the film definitely looks like one to put on your watch list! All too often black women aren’t given credit for their contributions they have made, and this film will sure enough unearth their importance!
