Summer’s not over yet! Step into London’s iconic Globe Theatre and experience it in all its open-air glory with the ‘delightful’ ★★★★ (Evening Standard), ‘exuberant and inventive’ ★★★★ (Daily Telegraph) As You Like It.

This ‘joyous, queer extravaganza’ ★★★★ (Time Out) is ‘a wonderful way of celebrating the last gasp of this year’s summer’ ★★★★ (Arts Desk).

Shakespeare’s famous comedy of love, friendship and freedom begins in the court of Duke Frederick, where division and distrust are rife. When Rosalind is banished from the court, she runs away with her cousin Celia to the Forest of Arden. No longer governed by the court’s strict rules, they take the opportunity to explore new identities and find that the forest is a place where the possibilities for love and connection are infinite.

In this ancient community of nature, unexpected friendships are forged, curious minds meet, bitter enemies reconcile, and strangers fall in love. So step into the Globe Theatre and who knows what – or who – you might find?

The cast includes Nina Bowers (Girl on an Altar, Kiln Theatre) as Rosalind, Isabel Adomakoh Young (winner of Best FemaleActor in a Play at the 2021 Black British Theatre Awards for Romeo and Juliet, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Emmanuel Akwafo (Olivier Award-nominated for his performance in For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Hue Gets Too Heavy, Royal Court).
