Akon’s latest album is inspired by his experiences of India and (the second largest film industry), Bollywood. The ‘Locked Up’ singer recorded a Hindi song for Bollywood film, Ra One and he’s using this experience as inspiration for his next album. Describing the album, Akon said it’s a mixture of hip sounds with various beats from around the world.
Speaking on the album Akon says,
“I am the kind of artist that creates my music on the basis of my experience. I’m always in Europe, always in Asia, always in India and this is the kind of music that I’m exposed to.”
