First Lady’s dream job? Being Beyoncé…

In an interview with People magazine, the First lady Michelle Obama admitted to wanting to be Beyoncé if she could be anyone.

Praising the chart-topping singer, who herself wrote an open letter to the first lady last month calling her “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman”, Mrs Obama said if she was able to sing, she’d be Beyoncé. She said, “Gosh, if I had some gift, I’d be Beyoncé. I’d be some great singer.” The first lady, who admitted that singing and music are unfortunately not among her many talents continued, “The power of music, being able to play an instrument… It looks like musicians just have the most fun.”

Any potential music lessons may have to take a backseat for now as Michelle Obama prepares for the release of her new gardening book, “American Grown” next week.
